Prompted IDs are similar to personal identification numbers (PINs) that provide a secure authorization to approve all transactions. Each transaction made through a card on your account must be approved by the entry of these prompted IDs.
Your online account management website allows you to assign prompted IDs to individual cards or every card in a pool. Follow these steps to learn more:
1. On the home page, select Cards > Manage Prompted IDs.
2. The Manage Prompted IDs page opens. Click Add Prompted ID.
3. Enter a description for the prompted ID and then the prompted ID itself. Then, click Save.
Note: You cannot enter a description or prompted ID that already exists. Also, prompted IDs must be between 4-6 digits.
4. The new prompted ID displays in the list and is now active.
5. To edit the description of a prompted ID, click the Edit gear icon.
6. Make changes as necessary. Then, click Save.
7. Your changes display immediately. In this example, the Prompted ID description, “Dump Truck” was changed to “Dump Trucks”.
